Frequently Asked Questions

1.       What religions do you cater for?

We cater for Muslim, Christian, and non religious. However please note for Muslim and Christian you can only be blessed in the mosque or church.

If you are able to bring your own religious member to perform the Wedding we are happy to help.

For non religious you can be blessed where you wish.

What is a blessing?

This is what we offer to our UK clients, as we are unable to provide you with full registration and documentation (please see below). Please note our blessings are not binding by law.

For Egyptian Clients our blessing are religious and binding.

2.       Do you offer wedding insurance?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer wedding insurance, however we recommend you do have wedding insurance especially if you are coming from abroad. Email us for our recommended companies.

3.       How do you work out your fees?

We work out our fees on the amount of planning and organisation time and staff needed, for example the costs would be higher if the wedding had a large guest list and complicated itinerary. If it was just a small renewal of vows then the fees would be considerably lower. The exchange rate can also play a large part in our fees.

We do try and cater for everyone and can usually provide a package to suit everyone's budget.

4.      Can you deal with the legal paperwork for a marriage?

The Legal paperwork must be done in Cairo, we are unable to organise the legalities for the wedding contract due to some recent changes.

In brief the process to get married must be done in Cairo will now take 5-7 days to complete as you will need to visit the British Embassy, The Office of Foreign Affairs and The ministry of Justice, then wait two days for the Wedding contract, once received you will then need to take it to get it translated to English and submit it back to the British embassy. Most people are now opting to get married in their own country and have the blessing and Reception in Egypt.

5.       What are the good points of getting married in Egypt.

Egypt is a very beautiful destination that offers great venues and locations, fantastic weather all year round, unique, cultural and excellent value for money.

6.       What are the bad points of getting married in Egypt

The legalities of the wedding can be time consuming and unpredictable for some nationalities.

Technology can be limited and dated; therefore some of the most up to date technology in photography or Web weddings for example may not be available.
